By installing or using echomate (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. echomate is provided by Valerian Huber, operating under the brand Alpin-Code (alpin-code.de). If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the App.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. echomate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

echomate, its logo, and branding are owned by Alpin-Code (Valerian Huber). The QR codes and links you create are your property. Content generated through echomate (analytics data, reports) belongs to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using echomate at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, your data is retained for 30 days (in case of reinstall), then permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Language

These terms are available in several languages. The English version is authoritative: if a translation differs in meaning, the English wording applies.

11. Liability

Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only where a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty) is breached; in that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

We are not liable for outages or disruptions caused by Shopify, third-party providers, or force majeure.

12. Governing Law and Place of Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Rosenheim, Germany, where the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
